Le Fil

LE FIL is a British-Chinese multidisciplinary pop artist, singer and performer from Brighouse in Huddersfield.

Le Fil creates pop music and art that he describes as pop sculpture. Treating himself like both a sculptor and sculpture, he works across many art-forms to create striking sounds and visuals that explore notions of gender and identity. With infectiously catchy songs like Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is, Undercover Lover and 24/7, Le Fil is increasingly garnering the public’s attention, leading Attitude Magazine to place him on one of their magazine covers, describing him as a ‘living, breathing pop sculpture’.

As one of the breakout stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 4, Le Fil exudes creativity, passion and a range of skills and talent that have propelled him into the hearts of the nation.Le Fil is known for his unique androgynous style and for his glittering performances, notably with the collective Sink The Pink. He has toured his way across club dancefloors, music festivals, and the world stages – even performing alongside Spice Girl Melanie C.

Le Fil’s unmissable music videos, magnetic live shows and energetic performances often draw comparisons to other pop royalty like Lady Gaga and Kylie Minogue. His shows are described as ‘pop gigs with extras’- part-pop concert, part-live art, part-fashion installation. Every piece of Le Fil’s output is a considered and conceptual work of art, making him one of today’s most exciting, rising stars.

Le Fil is an activist and vocal champion of LGBTQ+ rights. With a focus on bringing queer perspectives to the mainstream, Le Fil has collaborated with many global brands and clients to spread his vision for equality, diversity and creativity. Le Fil has fronted campaigns and appeared in many performances, music videos, projects and editorials. With a unique perception of the world, Le Fil’s approach to creativity and art is a true filosophy. Always finding new ways of seeing, he challenges our everyday expectations of gender and genre, giving the world a fresh and innovative vision that will transform our imaginations.
