Conor Knight
Conor Knight is a presenter, podcaster and broadcaster.
Conor’s presenting journey started on his local community radio station in 2017, playing the music he loved and talking about celebrities being ridiculous. He then found himself as a regular host, presenting mid-mornings on Radio Essex, bringing his tongue in cheek personality, love of music and all this pop culture to his dedicated and growing band of listeners.
Naturally, Conor has found a home on BBC Radio 1, and has spent the last 18 months in the studio covering Radio 1 daytime, weekend breakfast, and taking the reins of the Ricky, Melvin and Charlie’s’ show over Christmas.
Demonstrating his deep connection to Gen Z audiences, Conor also presents on FunKids, finding his way from a small weekend slot to now hosting primetime weekday evenings.
Outside of the studio, Conor has presented at festivals such as Creamfields, CBBC’s Summer Social & red carpet premieres – where he has interviewed a host of celebrities and musicians including Robert Downey Junior & Tom Holland.
Not content with that, Conor launched his own comedy-fact podcast, Baffled, which charted in the UK Top 20 & US Top 40, and has seen the likes of Paul Chowdry and Yvette Fielding drop by for a chat.
Anyone meeting Conor for the first time can clearly see that fashion is one of his passions, and he effortlessly blends 70s vintage fits with contemporary sportswear and tailoring.
Born and raised in Hornchurch, at heart Conor is a typical Essex lad enjoying the small things in life – old motors, vintage clothing, and a trip to his local for a cold pint.
