Matt Jones is a professional Red Bull freestyle mountain bike athlete, commentator, and extreme sports fanatic.
Matt started competing professionally at the age of 18 as a slopestyle mountain bike athlete and he ranked number 1 in the UK and 9th in the world in 2013. Matt creates high-quality, high-production content across multiple platforms including TikTok, Instagram and YouTube and has a combined following of 1.6 million across his channels. He documents the process and progression of his mountain bike career and focuses on building jumps and learning tricks that nobody has tried before.
Matt has built an entire skatepark and a dirt jump compound at his farm which allows him to film content regularly for his viewers from the comfort of his own surroundings. In his content, he discusses the trials and tribulations of crashing, setbacks and showcasing the full journey that his career takes him on and his ‘build and ride’ format has generated a very loyal viewer base. He has travelled to brand HQ’s/factories to talk about what goes into their products and why they’re relevant to him and his audience.
In 2019 Matt was selected to commentate in the biggest slopestyle mountain bike competition in the world – Red Bull Joyride. He has also commentated on Red Bull District Ride in Germany and Red Bull Roofride in Poland. As well as this, Matt has also featured in the Red Bull TV documentary, Robs Wild Rides and Design and Conquer.
