Siva Kaneswaran

Siva is an Irish singer and TV personality.

Siva recently appeared in ITV1’s Dancing on Ice and is best known for being in the boyband ‘The Wanted’.

Siva was brought up in Ireland and and was the youngest twin of eight children born to a Sri Lankan father and Irish mother. Moving to London at just 18, Siva was discovered by Universal Music Group when auditioning for the Platinum Award Winning boyband ‘The Wanted’. Since then Siva has been a key part of the UK music and entertainment industry.

The Wanted’s released their debut album, The Wanted in 2010. It peaked at number four on the UK Albums Chart and spawned three UK top 20 singles: their debut single, “All Time Low”, which topped UK Singles Chart, “Heart Vacancy”, which reached number two, and “Lose My Mind”, which reached number nineteen. Their follow-up album Battleground, was released in 2011 and reached number five in the UK and number four in Ireland. The album lead single, “Gold Forever”, was released in aid of Comic Relief and peaked at number three in the UK. The third single, “Lightning”, hit number two in the UK.

In 2019, Siva launched his solo music career with the release of his first single “Breathe In”. Breathe in is about Siva’s journey of healing through the power of meditation and breath work.

He shares his time between London and LA, living with his fiancé and two dogs.
